Teaser Tuesday: Ten by Gretchen McNeil

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly event hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along, just do as following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
  • Be careful not to include any spoilers so as not to ruin the book for others!
Make sure to share the title and the author so other Teaser Tuesday participants can add the book to their to be read piles.

SHHHH!
Don't spread the word!
Three-day weekend. House party.
White Rock House on Henry Island.
You do NOT want to miss it.
It was supposed to be the weekend of their lives—an exclusive house party on Henry Island. Best friends Meg and Minnie each have their reasons for being there (which involve T.J., the school’s most eligible bachelor) and look forward to three glorious days of boys, booze and fun-filled luxury.
But what they expect is definitely not what they get, and what starts out as fun turns dark and twisted after the discovery of a DVD with a sinister message: Vengeance is mine.
Suddenly people are dying, and with a storm raging, the teens are cut off from the outside world. No electricity, no phones, no internet, and a ferry that isn’t scheduled to return for two days. As the deaths become more violent and the teens turn on each other, can Meg find the killer before more people die? Or is the killer closer to her than she could ever imagine?

TEASER 1:
"It wasn't a question and T.J. didn't respond. The unspoken "why" lingered in the air between them, but Meg was afraid to ask. Afraid of the answer."

Teaser 2:
She should have put the journal down.
Instead, she turned the page.

Ten is so creepy and wonderful at the same time. It has that feeling of a teen horror movie, and I could really see it play out in my head.
I have not done a Teaser Tuesday in months, but I think that I will be starting them back up so I can share teasers from my current reads!
If you want to share a teaser with me, just leave me a link in the comments!
