Why am I waiting?

I not sure if I have ever really read a historical novel with western theme. I mean I love the old west, but I cannot remember actually reading a book with that setting. I think this book maybe what changes that, I really like the premise and this defiantly sounds like an action packed read.

Since I was little I have been obsessed with Ancient Egypt. History, Culture, Mythology, Pharaohs, and Mummies there is so much that intrigues me. I love that this book is saturated in Ancient Egyptian culture and history that transpires in modern times. I am more excited about this book then I have been for a book in a really long time. This is the super creepy murder mystery I have been dying to read. I have always and will always love a good mystery over anything else. I like trying to figure out what is going on and what is going to happen. This one sounds exceptionally creepy.

I am a bit of a history nerd, and I always love retellings and re-imaginings of historical events. I know a little bit about Alexander the Great but I really want to see what Eleanor does to make this story her own. Also I have not read a really great Fantasy in a long time, and I think this will be a great one to fix that.

This is one of her newest series and the cliffhanger at the end had me dying to read this one, because i cannot wait to see a few of her characters from her young adult series. Even though you don't have to read it to understand this story I am still excited to see a few old faces.

Returning From The Land of The Lost...

I have accomplished the near impossible...I have pulled myself out of the Land of the Lost also known as my real life. It has not been an easy task and trying to return to blogging has had many starts and stops and I just couldn't quite get there.

I went from posting near daily to posting a total of 14 times this year...my real life took over and I couldn't find the passion or time for blogging I had in the past. It did not seem fair to my readers to just not put my full effort into blogging because it shows and you as my readers deserve my best effort.

I don't want to spout false promises, so this is what I can promise: I am going to try my best to post at least 4-5 days a week. If I can get more reviews, and content out then that great. It may start off slow but I am seriously excited to get back into blogging.

I am looking forward to connecting with old readers and new and to celebrate the reinstatement of Unabridged Bookshelf there is a little giveaway to enter below!
