Follow Friday #12 and TGIF #5

FF 2012 Feature & Follow #80

Feature and Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read

Q: BeefcakeandBabes Asks: I like unique names for characters and am looking forward to coming up with some when I start writing. What’s the most unique character name you’ve come across?
I would have to say the most unique name I have ever came across would have to be  Renesmee. I hate the name, but I have to say I have never seen anything like it. I also have only come across my name,Chandra, once in a book I was reading, and the best part it was a Hardy Boys Casefiles! If you have been here before, you know that was a huge deal! Except she was a recruiter for a crazy religious cult, but hey I was floored!

TGIF is hosted by Ginger at Greads
The purpose is to answer the question for the week, and re-cap the weeks posts.
It is a great way to get to know other bloggers.

Q.  Book Blogger Pride: What do you take pride in when it comes to blogging?

I would have to say EVERYTHING! Every New Follower, Every Comment, Every Request mean the world to me! Anytime someone likes what I have to say, it is still unbelievable! I have only been blogging for 5 months, and it has been the BEST 5 MONTHS EVER!
Every person that stops by just to read what I have written, I truly appreciated you taking time out of your day to view my blog! YOU ARE AWESOME! Seriously, Ask my husband, every time I open my email or check my blog, I get a goofy smile on my face.
THANK YOU!!

I've seen a couple of bloggers mentioning Renesmee, I have to say Meyer made a trade mark out of this name for sure. ;)

And I adore your name? Because in Polish it means something like "melancholy". :)

Hi, I'm new follower, by the way.

My FF <3.

Chandra from the Hardy Boys? Ack, I can't recall. My name, Lorraine was featured in Debbie Macomber's novel "Christmas Angels." Btw, since I just found a Hardy Boys fan, Iola really died right? I was hoping against hope she wasn't really in the car when Evil Inc bombed in. *sigh* Old follower. My FF.

It would be awesome to see my own name in a book. I see differently spelled versions, usually Maya, but it's not really the same.
Old follower.

I absolutely adore getting comments and hearing from people via Twitter. Interacting with people who love books as much as I do is always a WIN in my book :)

Yes - Renesme, if nothing else, is unique! I like Wicked and Truth (cheesy, but it fits them) from Anita Blake!

So many people are mentioning Renesme from Twilight. I haven't read the series but I gotta say, that name is a lot less annoying than having to see SharkBoy's naked chest every time the trailer comes on.

And don't forget to enter to win a Kindle Fire. My Hottest Boys in Books giveaway ends tonight at midnight!

i appreciate the time you have put into your blog. it is really cool and all of the colorful contrast and design is inspiring. The most unusual name I know of and like is Precious. I knew a girl in school who's real name was Precious Flowers!

You have so much to be proud of, Chandra. You've built a great blog in a short amount of time.
Hope the next five months are just as great!

She did die in the Casefiles and in the Supermysteries, but not in the digests, so in a way she didn't die. But she was in the car when they bombed it :(

I did not know that my name meant Melancholy in Polish! Thank you!

Even to this day, I don't believe it was true :D I know that's beyond stubbornness. :D Oh, okay. I have to start accepting it. :D Thanks for tagging me! I saw couple of those from other blogs and it looked fun to join.:D Oh, and last thing, I had my first author guest post. I just wanted to share. :D I still don't know how this giveaway works yet. A blog friend of mine suggested that I take a look at rafflecopter. :D Okies, this is getting a tad long. I really appreciate you thought of me on the book tag post. Have a nice day.
